Works on M-5 Ural completed on November 15 as part of Central Ring Road construction

The traffic was open on the night of November 15 to 16. The traffic was suspended in June this year on the section of M-5 Highway from the intersection from A-107 Moscow Small Ring to Tatarintsevo – Starnikovo road for the construction of the Central Ring Road (CRR). The section of M-5 Ural Highway was completely dismantled for the cross over construction. After the works completion, M-5 was expanded in this place to three lanes in each direction.

The construction of a transport interchange is continuing in Bronnitsa district, which will connect CRR-4 with M-5 "Ural Highway. It is planned to launch traffic on six ramps out of the designated eight by early next year. This will provide connection between M-5 and CRR-4. The remaining two ramps will be launched at the end of October 2021.

After launching the traffic along the main passage of CRR-4, the travel time for those driving to M-7 Volga or M-4 Don Highways from M-5 will be reduced. The traffic load on the street road network along A-107 and the number of congestions in Bronnitsa will be decreased.
