Overhaul of the road from Volnovakha to R-150 started in the DPR
In the Donetsk People's Republic, refurbishment of the road segment Volnovakha - Belgorod - Starobelsk - Lugansk - Donetsk - Mariupol" commenced. It is 38 km long.
At present, the clearing of the right-of-way has been entirely executed at the site, with all remaining debris hauled away. Work is underway to bring the shoulders into a normative condition.
The road runs across populated areas with socially significant facilities and leads to the administrative center of Volnovakha. The major overhaul will make travel safer and improve transportation connectivity for the surrounding area.
The project includes laying two layers of asphalt, painting lane markings, installing curbs, and putting up new road signs. The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
